Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our safari guide, who will assist you with your transfer to your accommodation in Kampala. This will provide you with an opportunity to rest and recuperate from your journey in preparation for the upcoming Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Masai Mara Safari scheduled for the following day.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable (8hrs-9hrs)

Kampala / Entebbe - Bwindi Impenetrable

You will depart in the morning at 7:00 AM, where our professional driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Kampala. Following a briefing regarding the itinerary for your three-day safari adventure, you will begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southwestern region of Uganda. You are expected to arrive at the lodge in the evening, where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Please note that due to the lengthy drive from Kampala to Bwindi, there is an option for a scheduled flight from Entebbe to Kihihi or Kisoro, which includes a brief transfer to the lodge, available for an additional fee.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Community Interaction

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Embark on a two-day journey in Bwindi, engaging in gorilla trekking and immersing yourself in the local community. Following an early breakfast, you will walk to the park headquarters for a briefing before proceeding to the gorilla trail.

The tracking experience typically ranges from 2 to 8 hours, or even longer, as you seek to encounter the magnificent gorillas. Once located, you will have the privilege of observing these remarkable creatures for a minimum of one hour. It is recommended to bring a packed lunch, as the duration of the trek can be unpredictable.

On the third day in Bwindi, you have the option to participate in a community walk after your gorilla trakking adventure or simply relax at your accommodation, taking in the beautiful sounds and sights of the region. After your community exploration, return to your lodging to enjoy your evening, dinner, and a restful overnight stay.

Transfer Back to Kampala

Bwindi Impenetrable– Kampala / Entebbe

In the early morning, following your breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. During the return trip, you will have the chance to enjoy lunch in Mbarara town, and after passing through Masaka town, there will be an opportunity to pause at the Equator for photographs.

You are expected to arrive in Kampala in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your reserved accommodation.

Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Today, you will be transported to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, our safari guide will meet you and facilitate your transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve. During this journey, you will travel through the Great Rift Valley, allowing you to appreciate the stunning landscapes on your way to your reserved accommodation in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

After enjoying breakfast, you will embark on a full day of wildlife observation within the reserve. The area features picturesque savannah grasslands set against rolling hills. This reserve is renowned as the premier park for game viewing in Kenya, boasting a comprehensive network of roads and tracks that facilitate close encounters and excellent photography opportunities.

You will pause for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles. Following this, you will return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Additionally, there are optional activities available in Masai Mara, including a hot air balloon ride over the Mara Plain for an additional fee of $600 per person, as well as a visit to a Masai Village for cultural engagement at a cost of $20 per person.

Embark on an early morning game drive, as both nocturnal and diurnal animals are typically most active before the sun rises and they seek shelter in the shade.

This experience in the Masai Mara plains will continue until 8:00 AM. Following the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Nairobi, with lunch provided along the way.

You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening, where you can either be dropped off at your pre-arranged accommodation or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
