Rwanda Gorillas & Big 5 Safari

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to
your booked hotel for the overnight in Kigali.

Today in the morning after breakfast at your lodge, you’ll be picked by the tour guide and set off
a scenic drive to Nyungwe National Park. You’ll have en route visit to Nyanza Kings palace for
cultural visit, Butare National Museum, Murambi Genocide Museum among others. Proceed and
reach Nyungwe in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Set out after breakfast for Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest. Meet at the park
headquarters for the briefing about the primates and the forest.
After entering the tropical rainforest search for the shy chimpanzees on the tree branches, while
on this walk expect to spot other primates like; black-and-white colobus, velvet monkeys, redtailed monkeys, and different bird species can be spotted too in the Nyungwe Forest National
Park.
Return to the lodge for lunch, later in the evening continues to the canopy walk, looking for
primates, birds, and the clarity of the green canopy cover. After an unforgettable evening return
to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning you’ll set off a spectacular drive to Gisenyi on the upper shores of Lake
Kivu. In the evening, embark on a canoe ride with the singing fishermen on the lake as you enjoy
the scenic views of the sun setting over the lake.

Today you’ll go for a boat cruise to the hot springs. Later you’ll set off for a transfer to
Volcanoes National Park.

Depart in the morning after your breakfast, set off with your backed lunch were you’ll be
transferred to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on the gorilla tracking
adventure. After having enough time with mountain gorilla you’ll be transferred back to your
accommodation for an evening leisure followed with dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast transfer to Kigali, depending on your flight schedule, proceeds to Kigali
International airport for your onward travel, this will mark the end of the Rwanda Gorilla
trekking safari.
