Over the next two days, you’ll explore the Masai Mara National Reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives.  Meanwhile, lunch will be served at the camp, or you can opt for an extended game drive with a packed lunch to maximize your time in the wild.

The month of July and August bring the spectacular annual wildebeest migration, making this period perfect for a deeper immersion in the reserve. In addition, if luck is on your side, you might witness the awe-inspiring drama of a river crossing. Moreover, each day will conclude with a delightful dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at the camp.

After breakfast, set off from the Mara and head towards the Tanzania land crossing border to complete the required border formalities. At this juncture, a new driver and vehicle will take over for the next leg of your Masai Mara and Serengeti Safari. 

Your Tanzanian adventure begins with a visit to Lake Victoria, one of Africa‘s Great Lakes. The lake was named by explorer John Speke during his 1858 expedition with Richard Burton, which sought to uncover the source of the Nile River.

You’ll be arriving at Serenity on the Lake for the late lunch, followed by an afternoon relaxation. Additionally, enjoy the tranquil views of the lake. 

Experience a 2-days of exclusive game drives in Serengeti National Park. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in unlimited game drive, traversing from the Lake Victoria via Western corridor of the Serengeti to the Central Serengeti, specifically the Seronera Area.

This location boasts the highest concentrations of wildlife within the Serengeti, making it an ideal spot for observing predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with a variety of other wildlife species.

After an exhilarating day of exploration, you’ll be transferred to Serengeti Tortilis Camp,  where you’ll be spending your evening at leisure followed with dinner and an overnight stay.

Today you are going to the Legendary Ngorongoro Crater! Your day will begin early in the morning, when your guide arrives to drive you to the Ngorongoro Crater, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Later in the late afternoon you’ll ascend the Crater and drive to Manyara, where you’ll be staying at Manyara Safari Lodge.

The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home.
