Best of Tanzania Southern Circuit Safari

Meet our safari guide at Julius Nyerere International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Dar es Salaam city centre.

Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure of your safari.

Morning pickup from the hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 am and drive to Nyerere National Park with lunches at restaurant in Kibiti, take a short break then proceed with the drive, arrive in late afternoon and check in at the camp, then leave for evening boat drive at Rufiji river. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast in the morning with your packed lunches enjoy a full day game drive in Nyerere National Park, great animal sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting wild dogs and also enjoy a great variety of bird species with wonderful scenery and varied topography: wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with long views of far-off mountains. Enjoy your packed lunch and time to rest.

On evening you’ll be back at your accommodation for sunset, dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast with your packed lunch boxes, depart with en route game drive to Mikumi National Park, 7 hours driving.  Arrive for afternoon/evening game drive. Great welcoming by the herd of impalas, elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeests, buffaloes and many more, dinner overnight at Mikumi.

Depart after your breakfast at the lodge; enjoy a full day game drive in Mikumi, the common animals which you’ll spot  in the Park include lions, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants and many more. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic site before proceed with game drive to the hippos and crocodiles pool.

On late afternoon or early evening you’ll return to the lodge for an evening relation at the lodge followed with dinner and overnight stay/.

Began your journey with 4hrs drive from Mikumi to Ruaha National Park which via Iringa town, you’ll be passing though country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. When you arrival stop for the picnic lunch before continuing with afternoon and evening game drive. Later in the evening transferred to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart on early morning game drive since animals both nocturnal and diurnal are generally found active before the sun sends them off to cover under shades, following with sunrise in Ruaha till 8:00am. Later have your packed bush breakfast, and proceed with en route game drive through the famous Ruaha River; is the best place to see huge crocodiles especially when the river is full of water.

Later start driving back to Mikumi, arrive in Mikumi on evening at your booked accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

After early breakfast from lodge with the packed lunches you’ll drive back to Dar es Salaam.

You’ll get a chance to spot/see animals since you’re passing through Mikumi National Park while departing to Dar es Salaam in which you’ll arrive on late afternoon at your own booked accommodation or transferred to the airport for your onward travels.
