Aberdare Country Club is an expansive estate nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of Kenya‘s breathtaking Great Rift Valley. Once a colonial homestead, this historic property, now a national heritage site. It offers charming country-style accommodations. The property has the comforting ambiance of a relaxed family retreat. Guests are treated to stunning vistas of the Aberdare Mountains to the west. Meanwhile, there is Mount Kenya to the east. These views are all within a privately managed five-square-kilometer nature sanctuary.
Aberdare County Club has nineteen cottages which feature two bedrooms. One offers three, and the largest is a spacious five-bedroom family retreat. It is complete with its own private veranda. All cottages come with en-suite bathrooms.
Guest at Aberdare Country Club can participate in various activities while at the lodge. These include enjoying the nine-hole golf course, two tennis courts, heated swimming pool, and the fully equipped gym, with its steam bath and sauna.
