Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

This morning at 7:00 AM, your guide will greet you at your hotel in Nairobi to begin the journey to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, youll check in at Amboseli Serena, where youll be staying for two nights. After lunch and a bit of relaxation, you’ll set off on an exciting evening game drive.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and is particularly famous for its majestic bull elephants with their impressive tusks. In addition, the park is also home to a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, and numerous bird species. After this wonderful experience, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park

After your breakfast in the early morning, you’ll bid farewell to Amboseli and begin your journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through Nairobi. During this drive, there will be a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, allowing for some photography before you proceed to Nakuru. Upon arrival at Nakuru Sopa Lodge, you’ll have time for lunch and relaxation after checking in.

Later in the evening, you’ll venture into Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives. This park is home to an alkaline lake that attracts vast numbers of both greater and lesser flamingos, creating a stunning avian display.

Additionally, over 400 bird species have been documented in the area. Additionally, Nakuru has been designated as a sanctuary for black rhinos, ensuring opportunities to observe both black and white rhinos in their natural habitat.

Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After your breakfast in the early morning, you bid farewell to Lake Nakuru and set off on a journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. As you travel, take in the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, which will lead you to your reserved lodge for a two-night stay. You’ll arrive just in time for late lunch and some relaxation at the camp. In the evening go out for a short walking safari or engage into cultural interaction with the maasai tribe.

The Masai Mara is renowned as Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve, often regarded as the finest in the country. The park features expansive grasslands, dotted with rocky hills, acacia woodlands, and riparian forests. Furthermore, it offers a rich experience for wildlife enthusiasts, showcasing not only formidable predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs but also other fascinating species such as spotted hyenas, bat-eared foxes, and black-backed jackals. On this day, you’ll say goodbye to the Masai Mara and Kenya as you embark on a scenic drive to Isibania, the border crossing point between Kenya and Tanzania. Please be aware that there will be a change of vehicle and guide; however, this transition is smooth and should not cause you any concern. Furthermore, once the immigration procedures are completed, with our guide managing all required documentation, you’ll be introduced to your new Tanzanian guide/driver. Moreover, you’ll then proceed to the central Serengeti for an evening of game viewing before settling in at Zuri Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
