Uganda Classic Safari (High End)

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, located in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, you will be greeted by a representative from African Diurnal Safaris, who will escort you in a private vehicle to No. 5 Boutique Hotel, where you will be accommodated for the night.

After enjoying your breakfast, you will be picked up from No.5 Boutique Hotel and driven to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kasese Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be taken by vehicle to Kyambura Gorge Lodge, your accommodation for the next two nights.

The Kyambura Gorge Safari Lodge, located within the scenic Queen Elizabeth National Park, features eight elegantly designed and spacious bandas positioned on the hillside, each equipped with its own private bathroom. Each banda offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, providing unique views of the breathtaking gorge and the verdant savannah of the National Park, extending to the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. Guests can enjoy meals prepared with the freshest local ingredients in the lodge’s dining area.

The lodge is conveniently located within a short walking distance from the trailhead, allowing guests to easily embark on their chimpanzee trekking adventures. Additionally, the lodge offers opportunities for game drives in the National Park, guided forest walks, and birdwatching excursions to discover the rich biodiversity of the area.

The journey began with a picturesque transfer from Kyambura Gorge Lodge to Bwindi Lodge, where you will reside for the next three nights. Over the following two days, you will embark on an extraordinary expedition into the depths of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, providing you with a rare chance to observe the magnificent mountain gorillas that call this ancient rainforest home. Notably, nearly half of the global population of mountain gorillas can be found in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, establishing it as a remarkable destination.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to partake in a full-day excursion to a Batwa settlement nestled deep within the forest. This enriching three-hour hike will lead you to the core of the Batwa community, often referred to as the ‘Keepers of the Forest.’ The Batwa pygmies have coexisted with the park’s wildlife for millennia. During your visit, you will observe the women preparing and cooking traditional dishes, and you will have the chance to interact with medicine men to discover the healing properties of the forest’s rich biodiversity.

After a delightful breakfast, you will be transported from Bwindi Lodge to Kisoro Airstrip, ensuring your timely arrival for the scheduled flight to Entebbe International Airport for your subsequent travel plans.
