The Grumeti River, the Serengeti’s second largest river, hosts a thriving population of crocodiles and hippos that can be seen lounging in its pools throughout the year.

Additionally, this area is also frequented by iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and cheetahs. Furthermore, your game viewing adventure will extend into the evening, culminating with a drive to Zuri Serengeti Camp, where a delightful dinner and an overnight stay await you.

Today is reserved for an extensive game drive across the Serengeti Plain. Experience an extraordinary morning and afternoon of wildlife observation in Tanzania’s premier national park. During the afternoon, you’ll take a break for a picnic lunch amidst the African wilderness.

This is an excellent opportunity to potentially encounter the Big Five of Africa—lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo—alongside a stunning variety of other wildlife. After an incredible day exploring the Serengeti National Park, you’ll return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast in the morning, leave the camp with your packed picnic lunch and set off on a game–viewing adventure. Drive from Central Serengeti, passing through the Western Corridor, as you make your way toward Mwanza town.

You’ll reach Mwanza in the late afternoon, where you’ll have the option to be dropped off at your pre-booked accommodation or directly transferred to Mwanza Airport for the next leg of your journey.
