Rwanda Classic Safari

After your arrival, meet and greet with your tour guide at Kigali International Airport and have
your safari briefings. Transfer to your hotel and later take up the Kigali city tour including the
Genocide Memorial and visit a craft market. On evening arrive back at the lodge for dinner and
overnight stay.

After breakfast drive to the shores of Lake Ihema, take a boat ride which will give you an
opportunity to get close to the plentiful water birds including numerous hippos and crocodiles,
thereafter drive to Kigali, have lunch then proceed to Musanze for overnight stay.

After your morning wakeup call and breakfast, report to the park headquarters for gorilla
tracking briefings by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. After you are assigned to a specific
group, start your trek which will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been
assigned to. You’ll spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the
volcano slopes. Later after lunch at the lodge, drive to Gisenyi a city on the shores of Lake Kivu.
Arrive on evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy your breakfast in the peaceful atmosphere, relaxing on the rugged shore of the highest
African lake, and bathing in its crystal clear waters, or have an optional boat ride to visit the
closest islands and islets and later visit the hot springs. After your lunch, drive back to Kigali for
drop off at your own arranged accommodation or catch an evening flight for your onward
travels.
