Depart after breakfast in Nairobi, you’ll embark on a 3-hour drive southward through the Maasai territories, ultimately reaching Amboseli National Park. The term “Amboseli” translates to “place of water” in the Maa language, aptly reflecting its essence.

Upon your arrival, you can choose between a picnic lunch in the park or a warm, hearty meal at your lodge. Once refreshed, embark on an afternoon game drive through the park, where you‘ll encounter roaming herds of wildebeests and zebras, regal lions, cunning hyenas, graceful antelopes, and some of Kenya’s largest elephant groups—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

At the end of the day’s exploration, you’ll head back to your lodge to enjoy dinner and relax for an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park, often referred to as the Royal Court of Kilimanjaro, provides breathtaking views of the Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. To fully appreciate these stunning views, an early rise to witness the sunrise is essential. Additionally, embarking on an early morning game drive enhances your chances of observing wildlife, as predators like lions and leopards are notably more active during the cooler, low-light hours.

Later in the morning, after your game drive, you’ll head to Lake Naivasha, arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Today, you’ll embark on a boat excursion across this vast freshwater lake, nestled at the highest elevation of the Kenyan Rift Valley at 1,884 meters. This lake not only boasts breathtaking views but also provides a sanctuary for a rich variety of wildlife.

This adventure on Lake Naivasha will take you to the Crescent Island Sanctuary, offering a unique opportunity for you to participate in a short walking safari. Additionally, during this stroll, you’ll walk alongside zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and other fascinating wildlife.

After completing the activities at Lake Naivasha, you’ll be transferred to the Masai Mara, where you’ll stay for two nights at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, beautifully situated along the banks of the Talek River.

The 2-days of your Highlights of kenya and Great Migration Safari will be dedicated for morning and afternoon game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Afterward, you’ll return to your lodge for a leisurely late breakfast, followed by the preparation of a picnic lunch as you set out for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. After an exhilarating day, you’ll return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll begin your day with an early breakfast, enjoying the stunning views of the Masai Mara as you bid farewell. You’ll stop for a hot lunch on your way to Nairobi, marking the conclusion of your Highlights of Kenya and Great Migration Safari. Afterward, you‘ll either return to your reserved hotel in Nairobi or be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travels.
