This morning at 7:00 AM, your guide will greet you at your hotel in Nairobi to begin the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Today, you‘ll embark on an exciting game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Afterward, you’ll head to the lodge for lunch and take some time to unwind and refresh. In the evening, you’ll venture out again for another game drive, continuing until sunset.

Later in the evening, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and conclude the day with an overnight stay.

Your journey begins at Lake Nakuru, followed by a visit to the picturesque shores of Lake Naivasha, where you’ll enjoy a three-hour guided boat safari. This adventure on Lake Naivasha will take you to the Crescent Island Sanctuary, offering a unique opportunity for you and your children to participate in a short walking safari. Additionally, during this stroll, you’ll walk alongside zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and other fascinating wildlife.

After completing the activities at Lake Naivasha, you’ll be transferred to the Masai Mara, where you’ll stay for two nights at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, beautifully situated along the banks of the Talek River.

Enjoy early morning, afternoon and early evening game drives in the Masai Mara in search of the area’s predators and their prey. The general wildlife is abundant and you can also look forward to fascinating nature walks led by your Masai guide, who will teach about the Masai way of life. Furthermore, experience a picnic lunch, breaking up the day with time to relax-later return to the lodge for dinner where the chef will spoil you with fresh bread, salads and mouth-watering cuisine that can be enjoyed in the restaurant.

On this day, you’ll say goodbye to the Masai Mara and Kenya following an early breakfast. You’ll embark on a drive to Isebania, the border crossing point between Kenya and Tanzania. Please be aware that there’ll be a change of vehicles and guides; however, this transition is smooth and should not cause you any concern. Once the immigration procedures are completed, with our guide managing all the required documentation, you’ll be introduced to your new Tanzanian guide/driver. You’ll then proceed to the central Serengeti for an evening of game viewing before retiring to Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is reserved for an entire day of game drives in the Serengeti. You’ll enjoy unlimited game drives in the Central to Eastern Serengeti, which boasts the highest concentrations of wildlife in the region. Additionally, this area is particularly renowned for opportunities to observe predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with a variety of other wildlife species. Following an extraordinary day of exploration, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast in the morning, you’ll embark on a three-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll descend to the Crater floor for a full day of wildlife exploration, taking in the awe-inspiring views of the world’s largest unfilled caldera as you make your way down. This extraordinary site is home to the famed Big Five, along with nearly every species of large mammal native to Africa.

At the end of an enriching day of game drives within this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll leave the Crater and continue onward to Manyara. There, you will checkin at Manyara Serena Lodge to enjoy dinner and rest for the night.

Enjoy an active day in the company of a local guide as you explore the village of Mto wa Mbu. Learn about its tribal diversity, education system and social activities, followed by lunch in the village. Alternatively, you may opt for a biking tour through the village and along the shores of Lake Manyara.

In the late afternoon, continue driving to Arusha town at Arusha Planet Lodge where you’ll overnight.

Prepare yourself after an early breakfast, as our driver will be ready to transfer you to the Namanga land crossing Border. There, you’ll meet our Kenya-based driver, who will transfer you straight to Nairobi at Tamarind Tree Hotel.

This morning, after enjoying your breakfast, you’ll head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Here, you and your children will have the delightful opportunity to witness the rehabilitation of baby elephants through activities like feeding and bathing.

Next, you’ll visit the Giraffe Centre, a conservation site dedicated to breeding Rothschild giraffes. The center features an elevated feeding platform that allows close interaction with the giraffes, giving your children the unique experience of hand-feeding these elegant creatures. In addition, you can also wander through the scenic grounds of the Giraffe Centre, where you might encounter more of its tallest residents during your walk.

After these activities, you’ll continue to the Carnivore Restaurant for a delicious lunch. Following the meal, you’ll return to your hotel to refresh before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.This will mark the end of your Family Safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
