Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by an African Diurnal Safaris representative and be driven by private vehicle to your booked accommodation in Entebbe.

Board a scheduled flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip, which is in proximity to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional biological diversity. Upon your arrival at the airstrip, our guide will greet you and provide transportation to your reserved lodging at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge.

In the early morning, after enjoying breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters to receive a briefing on gorilla tracking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Embark on a trek into the forest to spend time with a family of Mountain gorillas. Although the hike may be challenging and lengthy, the sight of a magnificent silverback and his family will make the effort worthwhile. Once the gorillas are spotted, visitors will be escorted to a distance of six meters from them, allowing for an hour of observation before returning to the base station. The following day can be dedicated to visiting local communities; prepare for a full-day adventure by putting on your hiking boots, as it begins with a three-hour hike through the forest to a Batwa settlement.

The Batwa pygmies, known as the ‘Keepers of the Forest,’ are an enchanting hunter-gatherer tribe that has coexisted with the wildlife of this ancient park for millennia. At the Batwa homestead, observe the women as they prepare, cook, and serve a meal, and engage with medicine men to learn about the medicinal properties of the lush flora found in the forest.

Following a delightful breakfast, you will be transported to Kisoro airstrip for your prearranged light aircraft flight to Entebbe. Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will proceed to connect with your international flight for your subsequent journey.
