Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp is in the Ndutu region inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the border of the Southern Serengeti. It is just 40 minutes from the Ndutu airstrip. During December to March, this mobile camp shares its surroundings with the 1.5 million migratory animals. These animals have come to rest, graze, and calve. From July to October, this camp relocates and resides up in the Northern Serengeti on the Mara River to experience a different migration stage.
With only nine tents, Lemala Ndutu is a small and atmospheric camp situated by the side of a permanent marsh. With water present, there is a constant lure for wildlife.
You can relax at Lemala Ndutu and let nature’s wonders present before your eyes. Know that you have a delicious dinner and a comfortable, fully-furnished, and tastefully decorated tent to complete your day.
The camp feels large and permanent, despite being a mobile camp. This is great if you are a little nervous or unsure about being in a tent in the middle of the wilderness. The tents are stable and comfortable without denying you a wilderness experience.
