Meet our safari guide at Julius Nyerere International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Dar es Salaam city centre.

Arrive at the lodge to unwind and relax as you get ready for the next day‘s safari departure.

Drive from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Nyerere National Park

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 am for a drive to Nyerere National Park. During the journey, you’ll stop at a restaurant for lunch and take a brief break before continuing your drive. You are expected to arrive in the late afternoon, where you’ll check in at the camp.

Later, you’ll embark on an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River. After the excursion, you’ll return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Begin your day early with your packed lunches as you set off for an exhilarating full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. Experience remarkable wildlife encounters, including iconic species such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras, along with other notable animals like the hunting wild dogs.

The park also boasts a diverse array of bird species amidst stunning landscapes that feature wetlands, arid grasslands, light acacia forests, and elevated areas offering expansive views of distant mountains. Take pleasure in your packed lunch and enjoy some time to relax.

In the evening, you’ll return to your accommodation in time to witness the sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from Nyerere to Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park

After breakfast with your packed lunch boxes, depart with en-route game drive to Mikumi National Park, 6 hours driving.  Arrive for afternoon/evening game drive.

Great welcoming by the herd of impalas, elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeests, buffaloes and many more, dinner and an overnight  stay at Vuma Hill Tented Camp.

Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Explore Mikumi National Park

Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a morning and afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park. During your exploration, you can expect to encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras and elephant.

After savoring lunch at a designated picnic spot, proceed with your game drive toward the pool, where you can spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Later in the afternoon or early evening, head back to the lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

Drive to Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park

Begin your adventure with a four-hour drive from Mikumi to Ruaha National Park, passing through the charming town of Iringa. This route offers picturesque views of the countryside, featuring stunning valleys and majestic mountains.

Upon your arrival, take a moment to enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on an en-route game drive to the lodge.

Game Drive Through the Famous Ruaha River

Depart on early morning game drive since animals both nocturnal and diurnal are generally found active before the sun sends them off to cover under shades, following with sunrise in Ruaha till 8:00am. Later have your packed bush breakfast, and proceed with en-route game drive through the famous Ruaha River; is the best place to see huge crocodiles especially when the river is full of water.

Later in the late afternoon you’ll be transfered back to the lodge for hot lunch and afternoon relaxation (Optional to go out for evening game drive).

Flying from Ruaha to Zanzibar Island

Zanzibar Island

The day begin with an early morning game drive, followed by a return to the lodge for breakfast. Subsequently, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Zanzibar Island.

On arrival our guide picks you up at the airport and takes you to your hotel. Over the next few days, you can discover white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs. Into culture? Then head to Stone Town and dive into the history of this fascinating little town. Food lovers can also visit the spice plantations and discover the diverse flavours of the delicious local cuisine. A tropical paradise awaits you!
