Ndutu Luxury Migration Safari (Dec – Mar)

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town, where you can relax for the night and prepare for the following day’s departure for your Great Migration Safari.

Your safari begins at 7 AM with a hotel pickup, taking you to Arusha Airport to board a light aircraft bound for the Ndutu region.

Upon arrival, our safari guide will welcome you and arrange your transfer to your reserved accommodation for check-in. After settling in, you will savor a hot lunch before heading out on a late afternoon game drive, which will last until evening. Later, you’ll return to the camp to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Experience two days of morning and afternoon game viewing in the stunning wildlife haven of Ndutu. This region is an integral part of the magnificent Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ndutu serves as a key location along the route of the annual migration, which sees over 2 million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles. During the prime game viewing season from December to March, you’ll witness the transformation of the lush plains into calving grounds and nurseries for the great migration. This period also draws numerous predators that take advantage of the vulnerable young wildebeests.

Today, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Crater, making brief stops at a Maasai Village for cultural engagement and at Olduvai Gorge along the way. At the gorge, you’ll have the opportunity to explore significant findings related to some of the earliest human and animal remains discovered in the region, which contribute to our understanding of human evolution.

Following this, you’ll proceed to your lodge situated on the crater’s rim, where you can enjoy lunch and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge before setting off on an extensive game drive tour of the crater, complete with a picnic lunch.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to Arusha town for dinner and an overnight stay at your selected accommodation. Alternatively, you have the option to be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to proceed with your journey.

As you look back on the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories from your adventure, this will also be the time to bid farewell to your guide.
