Serenity on the Lake nestled on the shores of Speke Bay, with lovely views across Lake Victoria. It’s located just 20 Km outside Serengeti National Park on the Lake Shores of Lake Victoria. This is the largest freshwater lake in Africa and the second largest in the world.
Serenity on the Lake comprises of 14 bungalows (8 doubles / 6 twins), one Executive / Honeymooners Suite, and one Presidential Suite with private plunge pool. All Rooms are en suite with shower and bathtub, and are furnished with comfortable beds with mosquito netting. They also include a writing desk and stationery, a room fan and safe deposit box. Bottled drinking water is available in the rooms.
The main building houses the restaurant and bar, swimming pool, Spa, gift shop, and campfire area. The Welcome Centre which includes the reception area and a small business centre. Furthermore, it serves complimentary tea and coffees with a selection of homemade pastries, and provides internet connection WiFi. Activities that can be arranged from the lodge include local canoeing on Lake Victoria, village tour and a visit to local school. Additionally, bird watching, nature walk and bike tours around the area are available.
