Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to your accommodation for the night at The Retreat by Heaven. You will be picked up from the The Retreat by Heaven and transfered to Volcanoes National Park, where you will be spendi 3-night stay at Wilderness Sabyinyo.

Embark on a quest for enchanting encounters with the families of Mountain gorillas that inhabit the Virunga Mountains.

Experiencing wildlife alongside the magnificent mountain gorilla is unparalleled. Relish every moment as you observe them foraging, playing, teasing one another, eating, or resting in a striking resemblance to our own behavior. Occasionally, the trek to observe them may prove challenging, with steep ascents cloaked in dense foliage. Gorillas dwell in areas that are not easily accessible, residing where there is a plentiful supply of food plants close to the ground, and they think nothing of scaling remarkably high hills to reach them. Your challenging trek will be immensely rewarding when you first catch sight of these remarkable beings. When not trekking for gorillas, dedicate a morning to exploring the lush vegetation at the base of Mount Sabyinyo in search of one of the two habituated groups of golden monkeys, one of which consists of over 80 members.

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kigali. Upon your arrival in Kigali, you will enjoy a complimentary city tour that may feature the craft markets, the Kigali Museum, and the Genocide Memorial.
