The group arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). You’ll be met at the airport by your African Diurnal Safaris driver. He’ll wait for you with a signboard with your name written on it.

You’ll be whisked away to your hotel in Nairobi to recover from your flight and enjoy your first taste of African hospitality.

After a good night’s rest, you’ll be ready for the start of your 10-days Kenya Luxury Fly in Safari, tomorrow!

Begin your safari vacation from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, where you board your flight to Samburu, a semi-desert region in the remote frontier district. Melting waters of Mount Kenya feed rivers which support a surprising array of wildlife. This region is known for its elephants and the endangered Gravy’s zebra.

Spend the next couple of days discovering the wildlife on game drives and guided walks. Stay in a luxury Samburu safari camp and enjoy attentive service and friendly hospitality. Delve into the fascinating culture of the Samburu people during a cultural visit to a traditional homestead.

Continue your journey with a flight to a bush airstrip in the Masai Mara. Here you’ll spend the next 3 nights at Sala’s Camp Masai Mara

You have the option to wake up before dawn for an unforgettable sunrise game drive out in the park. Not only is the savannah particularly beautiful as it is being set fire to by the rising sun, but predators such as lions and leopards are especially active in the cool morning air.

Alternatively, you may wish to take to the skies with an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn. You’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the park and the sunrise from 1,000 feet before descending to enjoy a champagne breakfast on the savannah.

After your breakfast, you can relax at the lodge until lunch before heading out on a game drive or you can take a picnic lunch and embark on a full day exploration of the park in pursuit of the Wildebeest Migration and the Big Five.

On the morning of day 7, you’ll fly to Tsavo West National Park. Track elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino under the guidance of an expert guide. On a game drive, you can visit the Mzima Springs, whose source is from a natural reservoir under the Chyulu Hills and are crystal clear, affording some of the best Hippo watching in Kenya.

You can go horse riding, novice to professional, or mountain biking or even hiking here. There is an open air hide for some excellent game viewing and even sleep-outs on private “star beds” for the more adventurous.

There may be time for one last early morning game drive followed by breakfast back at your camp before boarding a flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, for your onward travel arrangements
