Overview

LABA Siwandu Camp is a secluded camp nestled in a breathtaking location, offering panoramic views of Lake Nzerakera in the northeastern region of Nyerere National Park  (formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve). Moreover, this park is the largest and oldest National Park in Africa. Furthermore, it is situated a 40-minute flight south of Dar Es Salaam. It offers a wide variety of flora and fauna experiences.

Guest accommodations at LABA Siwandu Camp consist of 13 tented suites. LABA Siwandu has been divided into two more intimately sized camps. These are North Camp and South Camp, and each includes its own facilities. Moreover, each Tent at both North and South Camp has been designed to the same specs. They are octagonal in shape and roofed in thatch. Additionally, each is raised slightly off the ground with views of the lake. The furnishings are sumptuous, with large beds, full-length mirrors, and dressers. You’ll also find a writing desk on the private veranda. The bathroom is an extension of the bedroom. It is complete with his and hers sinks, an outside shower and hot running water.

At LABA Siwandu Camp you’re guaranteed an exclusive stay. You’ll enjoy top-notch accommodation and days spent exploring by boat, game drive and bush walk. Moreover, each of the two sections of the camp has its own swimming pool and fully stocked bar. In these spaces, you can relax without being bothered by large crowds. The lounge areas feature large, comfortable sofas, beautiful views over the surrounding wilderness and a wildlife reference library where you can learn more about the animals you’ve encountered during the day.
