Kirawira Serena Camp offers an elegant safari experience in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Styled in classic Edwardian fashion. Kilawira Serena is extremely comfortable, yet it somehow lacks the authenticity of many other tented camps. The 25 beautiful and privately located tents are set on raised timber platforms. They come with a furnished deck offering views over the surrounding wilderness. The rooms have an Edwardian charm and boast colorful and diverse patchwork quilts. The rooms have a small sitting area, a writing table and chair, brass lamps, and stylish rugs. The dedicated tent steward will be on hand to fill up guests’ bottles of mineral water. They assist in room service requests and answer any questions guests may have during their stay.
The 11 Double Tents have a king-sized bed while the 14 Twin Tents have two beds in each. There is a fan in the room, laundry services, tea/coffee-making facilities, and a mosquito net over the beds. The en-suite, black-and-white floor-tiled bathrooms have a vanity, toilet, and shower. Guests can use bathrobes and slippers during their stay.
Activities at Kirawira Serena Camp encompass Balloon Safaris, and game-viewing is particularly favorable from May to June when the Great Migration occurs nearby. However, during the remainder of the year, the camp tends to be somewhat isolated.
