Manda Bay is an exclusive, family-run beachfront retreat. Hugging the north-western tip of Manda Island, one of the many unspoilt, idyllic islands found in the Lamu Archipelago, is Manda Bay. It lies in calm waters on a long sandy protected beach. For centuries this has been a calling point for the Arab dhow traders.. The accommodations consist of 22 individually designed beachfront bandas. They are constructed using local materials such as driftwood and palm thatch, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
There is something for everyone at Manda Bay. You can enjoy the comforts and the beautiful setting. Relax next to the water or indulge in a massage. If you are feeling energetic, there are water sports such as deep-sea fishing in search of the marlin and sailfish, windsurfing, water skiing, and scuba diving. There are also cultural visits and dhow safaris.
