Serengeti National Park

Today marks the beginning of an extensive exploration of what is widely considered the premier game park in the world. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most celebrated national park, takes its name from the Masai language, translating to ‘endless plain.’ This extraordinary location serves as the origin point for the immense herds of wildebeest, zebras, and a variety of other wildlife as they embark on the annual Great Migration in search of new grazing areas, resulting in one of the most remarkable natural spectacles on the planet.

The Serengeti at dawn offers a stunning vista that should not be missed. The early hours are perfect for wildlife observation as you set out on your first game drive of the day in search of the Big Five. Generally, afternoons are more leisurely, culminating in the late day when temperatures decrease and animals become active once more. Furthermore, there is an opportunity to enjoy an early morning hot air balloon ride (At an additional Cost $599 per person), providing a distinctive view of the breathtaking landscape and incredible wildlife of the Serengeti.
